The new store update for the US PlayStation Store is now live, and this week its packed full of discounts for PlayStation Plus members along with new downloadable games, demos and add-on game content.
If you’re a PlayStation Plus member you’ll be able to score some free games as well as discounts and free themes. Never fear though because us regular PS3 folks can also look forward to Crazy Taxi, Sky Fighter (read our review over here) and even Prince of Persia: Sands of Time HD.
There’s also a whole bunch of new demos for games like Start the Party, Saw II: Flesh and Blood, Sky Fighter and Vanquish. And add-on game content including Comet Crash: Bionic Swarm and the Battle Pack for Worms 2: Armageddon.

TikGames and Creat Studios’ awesome SkyFighter has finally received a concrete release date for the North American version of the PlayStation Network (PSN), following the release of the arcadey side-scrolling aerial combat game on the European PSN in late September.
Next to tank games nothing beats a well done arcade fighter plane game, so a big thanks to the team over at TikGames and Creat Studios for popping out a very cool game indeed. In SkyFighter you get to be the Ace who saves the day, in the real hero way where you can’t just use missile lock or laser targeting from 5 kilometers away. You are in the action with debris from anti-aircraft guns and bullets everywhere. Awesome!

Earlier this week we caught news of a new TikGames and Creat Studios title called SkyFighter, an arcade style side-scrolling aerial combat game for the PlayStation Network and PS3.
While it’s already available on the European PlayStation Store for €9.99/£7.99, and will be available shortly on the US Store, a debut trailer and a batch of screenshots have been released to help us understand what this game is all about.
