Assault Heroes 2 is this week’s XBLA offering. Developed by Sierra Online, it will be available from tomorrow for 800 Microsoft Points.

Assault Heroes 2 reveals that the enemy in Assault Heroes is a sinister force’s pawn. Armed with stronger weapons (including the new sub-zero freezing ice cannon, homing missiles, rocket launcher and upgraded firearms) and vehicles as well as the ability to hi-jack more powerful enemy units (including attack helicopters, armored tanks and mechanical walkers), players must now find it and destroy it.

The game features on-foot game play where players must use more firepower and take advantage of the new dodge roll feature to survive being outside their vehicle.

Face persistent enemies and bosses both on land and in space, through the Snowy Mountains, Rainforest and Outer Space with destructible terrain. Fight alone or battle with a friend using the enhanced two-player cooperative mode.
