With Tuesday being a holiday in South Africa, many folks will be taking Monday off and enjoying a long weekend. You’ll no doubt be using this time to catch up on some games you just never got the chance to play over the past few months, as well as hopefully indulging in a few sweet treats.
The El33tonline team will be heading to the Piggly Wiggly in Hillcrest to enjoy some hard-earned milkshakes, and then heading our separate ways to get our game on.
In the run-up to the release of Section 8: Prejudice on PlayStation 3 this past week, we realized that we had never actually reviewed the original game in the series, Section 8. In order to be fair and totally impartial we simply had to review the original. And my oh my, why did I miss out on this game? The only thing counting against it is the fact that everyone has moved on since 2009 and will most likely be playing the sequel.

The new Frontier Colonies Map Pack for Section 8: Prejudice is now available on Xbox LIVE Arcade.
Section 8: Prejudice is the new sci-fi first-person shooter from Timegate Studios. It landed on Xbox LIVE back in April and was only recently dated for the PlayStation Network.
Timegate Studios has announced that its sci-fi first-person shooter, Section 8: Prejudice, will be arriving on the PlayStation Network this month.
Section 8: Prejudice is the sequel to the developer’s 2009 multiplayer-focused first-person shooter, Section 8. The game launched on Xbox LIVE Arcade back in April but the PS3 release was delayed for three months so that it could be optimised for the platform.
Two new Xbox LIVE Arcade games of polar opposite content have hit the ol’ Xbox LIVE Marketplace this day in the form of the fast-paced side-scrolling platform game, The Fancy Pants Adventures, and the sci-fi first-person shooter, Section 8: Prejudice.
We’ve collected together fantastic launch trailers for both games as well as a handful of screenshots, and combined with the included official descriptions and pricing details, you’ll be able to decide if either of the titles is worth a closer look.

Timegate Studios has announced that a sequel to 2009’s multiplayer-focussed first-person shooter, Section 8, is currently underway, and is set to improve upon the original game is just about every way possible.
Entitled Section 8: Prejudice, the new game from Timegate will release in early 2011, and will most probably be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC like its predecessor, although that hasn’t yet been confirmed.
