The Kingdom Hearts series is well-known for its slick animation and vibrant visual style. Legendary Final Fantasy character designer Tetsuya Nomura once again serves as director on the latest iteration of Kingdom Hearts so you can be sure that Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance will not disappoint from a visual standpoint.

If you’re hankering after a modern game with an old-school vibe then Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion for 3DS may be just what you’re looking for. This tribute to the classic Sega Mega Drive / Genesis title ‘Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse’ uses hand-drawn sprites and scrolling parallax backgrounds to create a visual style that closely resembles Disney’s 16-bit era titles such as Aladdin and The Lion King.
Persona 4 may be a PlayStation 2 title but its excellent 2D character art by Shigenori Soejima has definitely stood the test of time. Thankfully we’ll be able to experience Persona 4’s likeable cast in a whole new light when Persona 4 Arena releases for Xbox 360 and PS3 this August in North America.
It’s common knowledge that a PS Vita version of FIFA 12 is in development but up until now it’s been keep largely under wraps. EA recently lifted the lid on the game by unveiling eight screenshots for it and giving select members of the press some hands-on time with this promising portable sports title.
One of the games to be announced during this year’s Microsoft E3 press conference was Kinect: Disneyland Adventures.
You’ll be able to explore the Disneyland park in the game, stepping into adventures based on attractions and engaging in quests with Disney characters using both your body and voice.
Rockstar has just posted up two new Max Payne 3 images on its Twitter account, simply writing:
“He’s coming.”

EA has just released a teaser image for BioWare’s next major project.
As you can see above, the image depicts a soldier with a gun. More updates as and when the annoucenment happens.
One of the highlights to come out of Ubisoft’s Digital Day was that the cult-like PS2 classic Beyond Good & Evil would be re-released on the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade in HD.
Beyond Good & Evil HD will feature higher resolution textures and a smoother frame rate, rendering at a 1080p HD resolution, as well as online leaderboards, trophies and achievements of course. It will also include enhanced character models and a remastered musical score.

EA has released the first ever screenshot from the publisher’s next football title, EA Sports FIFA 11.

All set to be fully revealed in the next issue of Game Informer a little later this month, Dead Space 2 was officially announced late yesterday, and now to keep our appetites satiated for the time being, a teaser image from the magazine has been let loose, showing off Isaac Clarke’s new armour while he’s in the process of making quick work of an enemy necromorph with his plasma cutter.

It’s just been announced that Liverpool FC and Spain international striker, Fernando Torres, has been signed on to become a cover star for Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, joining Lionel Messi for promotion duties. Torres provided a comment, saying:
“Everyone knows that when it comes to football simulation, Konami’s PES series is by far the most realistic title available. The new game looks absolutely stunning, and I look forward to seeing myself in action in PES 2010.”
PES European Team Leader, Jon Murphy added: “Fernando Torres has established himself as one of the most exciting strikers in the game.
“He encapsulates everything that is good about the modern game, showcasing both pace, skill and vision – three elements that play a major part in PES 2010 as a football simulation.”

The first in-game screenshot for APB: All Points Bulletin (APB) from developers Realtime Worlds (Crackdown) has been released which shows… not that much, but for a massively multiplayer online game (MMOG), it sure looks detailed, while the player customisations are also being showcased in the shot.
Along with the screenshot comes the news that we’ll soon be seeing a lot more of the modern day MMOG, where police and criminals battle it out in the streets as they go about both set missions and engage in open player skirmishes as they please. A member of Realtime Worlds commented:
“We know this can be frustrating for fans, so to show our appreciation we have decided to inform you guys that yes we WILL be at E3 this year and this will mark the start of lots more news, activities and information coming out about APB: All Points Bulletin.
“See you all at E3.”
