A post on the US and European PlayStation Blogs have informed us that, as of November 18th, a policy update will come into affect regarding the number of PlayStation devices you’ll be able to activate on one PlayStation Network account for game content purchased from the PlayStation Store.
“For game content purchased after November 18, 2011,” reads the post, “a new policy will apply and the number of devices that can be activated will be as follows:”
In amongst the usual assortment of game videos, themes, wallpapers and special price updates in this week’s US PlayStation Store update, you’ll find a deluge of new downloadable content (DLC) that will ably freshen up your current games, with add-ons and additions available for titles ranging from Cars 2, Mortal Kombat, LittleBigPlanet 2 and MotorStorm Apocalypse.
But something else lies within the depths of this PlayStation Store content publish… something great and powerful! Could it be… the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta?
It surely is, as this taster has recently gone live for all PlayStation Network users.

This week’s US PlayStation Store update is packed with quality content such as the Uncharted 3 Beta (exclusive to Plus members), as well as a slew of new demos (eight in total) to keep you in front of your PlayStation 3 for some time to come.
There’s also a new edition of Pulse to watch which looks at some of the latest movie releases on the Video section of the PlayStation Store.
Although there are no PSone classics on this week’s list to stir up some feelings of nostalgia, the varied assortment of add-ons, demos, trailers and downloadable games should be enough to console you until the next update goes live.
This week’s US PlayStation Store update doesn’t offer much in the way of new PS Plus content, but thankfully there’s plenty of DLC for some of this year’s biggest releases to keep you entertained.
These include a new map pack for Killzone 3; a fresh fresh LA Noire case for your Arson desk and a violent femme fatale to add to your Mortal Kombat character roster.
The latest European PlayStation Store update will be going live in just a few hours, and much like the US version of the store, there is a massive amount of great new content set to become available today.
Content such as… Magic: The Gathering — Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012.
Content such as… Back to the Future: Episode 3. And full games for PSP. And the PSOne Classic, Tekken. And masses of downloadable content to freshen up new and older games!

According to reports on Japanese tech sites Phileweb and AV Watch, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has confirmed recent rumours claiming that production of the company’s PSPgo portable gaming device has been discontinued, and only currently available stock of the handheld will be sold until depleted.
Once this stock is gone, the PSPgo will no longer be available on the market.
Dang.

Another week brings another US PlayStation Store update, and as always there’s plenty of new content to keep you entertained for the days ahead.
There are no new PS1 classics which is a bit of a disappointment since a lot of people were expecting Parasite Eve 2 to make a very welcome appearance on the store this week. On a more positive note, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is on sale for a mere $7.49. Snap this gem up quickly (if you haven’t already) before it goes back to full price.
There’re two new downloadable titles this week - StarDrone and Red Faction: Battlegrounds. Both seem like solid, thrilling additions to your PSN library, and the former utilises the PlayStation Move in case you’ve been hankering for some motion controlled gaming of late.
Like it’s US counterpart, the European PlayStation Store is set to receive megatons of new downloadable content just a little later today with brand new games (Swarm and Ghostbusters are looking tasty!) and new additions to previously released titles.
Also, look out for a huge selection of special price offers and permanent price reductions on content already on the store, as well as the usual lists of videos, themes, Rock Band songs, while those of you looking forward to the release of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters this week will also want to pick through an enormous amount of DLC.

This is a massive content update for the US PlayStation Store, and while it may seem like a cliché, I’m going to say it anyway:
“There’s definitely something for everybody.”
It’s true! There are a ton of downloadable games this week (with the intriguing Moon Diver heading up the list), loads of game demos (with the intriguing Moon Diver heading up the list), new stuff for PlayStation Plus members, an explosive amount of new content for older games, and the usual assortment of videos, wallpapers and themes.
Oh, did I forget about the action platform game, Rush ‘N Attack: Ex-Patriot? It’s here too.

What’s the crown jewel of this week’s European PlayStation Store update?
