Late last year the PlayStation Blog started posting monthly PSN charts and December’s list of top sellers is now live. The twenty games represented here are either PSN titles or PS3 Full Games, with plenty of familiar franchises making their presence felt on the chart.

Many PlayStation gamers I speak to have never heard of ‘The Tester’ before, which is unfortunate because it’s one of the most entertaining and enjoyable reality shows around.

The Tester 3

Each season of The Tester features twelve gamers competing for a coveted position at Sony Computer Entertainment America. The first two seasons’ winners literally became testers for SCEA after claiming victory, whereas the winner of season 3 will earn themselves a job as a Production Associate at God of War developer Santa Monica Studio.

PlayStation Store - A Virtual Shopping Bag It seems as though we’re in a bit of a post-holiday, pre-season lull here with the upcoming European PlayStation Store content publish, because there really isn’t all that much to write home about. Or write about, even.

Unless you’re interested in the classic PSOne game, Wild Arms. Or a full PlayStation 3 game, All Zombies Must Die. Or downloadable content for The King of Fighters XIII, Batman: Arkham City, MotorStorm Apocalypse or Rock Band 3.

And some miscellaneous videos and themes.

So it turns out there’s still some interesting content, not to mention some free stuff and discounts for PlayStation Plus members!

Find out what you can expect to see on the European PlayStation Store a little later today:

The latest US PlayStation Store update is one of the most comprehensive we’ve seen this year, with new content spread fairly evenly across all sections of the Store.

PS Store Update 20/12/11

This week the main attractions are Trine 2 and Sonic CD - two highly anticipated downloadable titles selling for $14.99 and $4.99 respectively. Thankfully demos are available for both games so you can see for yourself if they’re worth the asking price. I’ve tried out the full version of Sonic CD and while the presentation is a bit lacklustre compared to Sonic 1 and 2, it still seems like a worthwhile purchase for Sonic fans looking for an innovative entry in the series.
