Here is Sony’s recipe for an epic crossover adventure game: three legendary PlayStation heroes, three quirky sidekicks and an arena to show off their unique talents; throw in some PlayStation Move controllers and you’ve got the makings of a half decent game.

Now that all sounds good on paper, but sadly PlayStation Move Heroes is not quite cooked to perfection and what could be one of the best collaborative adventure games instead leaves a bitter taste of disappointment - Nihilistic Software missed a great opportunity to leverage these super titles off each other.

PlayStation Move Heroes is a mash up of a couple of famous characters, although it’s not the typical kind of adventure that you’d expect to see them starring in. This new journey sees Sly, Jak and Daxter as well as Ratchet and Clank brought to a new galaxy to compete in a series of inter-galactic games, the first time these heroes have teamed up together.

The demo for PlayStation Move Heroes just arrived on the PlayStation Store last week, and so I got the chance to brush up on some of the action which I dipped into at Sony’s PlayStation Experience event held in London in February. Basically the demo features five arena-style games that you can enjoy to get a glimpse into what the full game will be like when it releases in South Africa in April.

Game journalists from all around the world have been invited to get good looks and exclusive hands-on time with Sony Computer Entertainment’s upcoming line-up of PlayStation 3 titles at the publisher’s ‘PlayStation Experience’ event in London, and El33tonline is there!

El33tonline at the PlayStation Experience!

El33tonline Editor-in-Chief Lisa is at the event right now, “braving the cold of zub-zero London temperatures,” and over the next few days will be seeing an amazing line-up of games including Resistance 3, MotorStorm Apocalypse, Killzone 3, PlayStation Move Heroes, inFamous 2, Journey, Ratchet & Clank: All4One, SOCOM: Special Forces… and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception!

Lisa is sending through a few live images snapped at the event so far, which is being held at The Tramshed, “an old electricity generation station situated in the heart of London Shoreditch.”

Looks like things are heating up, and Lisa will be sending through coverage of the event today and the coming week to fill us all in on the sights, sounds and games at the event! Definitely look forward to that, but for now you can whet your appetite for new information with a few photos:
