Another great content update on the European PlayStation Store? Fantastic, and just what I was looking forward to! Thanks Sony!
First up, we’ve got a demo for Mafia II, as well as a full version of the retro brawling game, Scott Pilgrim VS the World. Downloadable content (DLC) for both Dragon Age: Origins and Red Dead Redemption also feature today, and Shin Megami Tensei: Persona for PSP is available for purchase and download as well.
Also today we… oh, what’s this? We’re getting a live incoming report from our European PlayStation Blog correspondent, Mike Kebby, who brings us this important message:
“UPDATE: I’ve just been given the information about a new addition for PlayStation Plus today; Plus subscribers will have two week’s early access to PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap and have a 20% discount on it too. However, if you already own PixelJunk Racers then 2nd Lap is free.”
Excellent stuff, thanks for that update Mike!

Although we already knew that Q-Games was working on a new instalment in its popular PixelJunk series, details of the new title were still scarce. Until now that is, because Dylan Cuthbert, President and Executive Producer of Q-Games has announced that PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap will be arriving on the PlayStation Network this Spring.
Q-Games has confirmed that a sequel to the popular PixelJunk Racers is in the pipeline.
This comes after the ESRB revealed last week that PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap was en-route to the PS3. At first Dylan Cuthbert, president and executive producer of Q-Games, denied the game’s existence – a post on his Twitter account read “no idea…the ESRB always randomly rate randomly named games from randomly unnamed sources.”
