In addition to revealing details about the next installment in the popular PixelJunk series (currently known as PixelJunk 1-4), Q-Games has also announced that PixelJunk Monsters is heading to the PSP.
Get ready to protect your flock by setting up artillery towers to defend against the hordes of invaders. The PSP version will feature a new island with over 10 stages, new enemies, towers, music tracks and special bonus features. The game will support single and co-op multiplayer.
According to President and Executive Producer of Q-Games, Dylan Cuthbert, the new version of PixelJunk Monsters will be the ultimate version because “we didn’t just add a new island, we’ve gone through and added new monsters, new towers, and a whole new island.”
“On top of that we’ve added loads of goodies, concept art, and a bunch of new tunes and even some art videos from Otograph. We’ve basically gone and packed it with everything we could possibly think of, so we are calling the game PixelJunk Monsters DELUXE!”
