Even in this day and age of internet scoops, Nintendo managed to surprise us with a few announcements at the publisher’s E3 press conference this year.
At the top of the list was the Wii U, Nintendo’s next home console and the successor to the Wii. The tablet-like controller for the Wii U has a touchscreen, dual analogue circle pads, motion controls, speakers, a microphone and a camera. The controller screen can be used instead of or along with HDTV.

Perhaps Kirby’s Epic Yarn is a few notches cuter, but Paper Mario for 3DS can easily compete in the ‘charm’ stakes - just listen to that sweet music and let the beautiful pop-up book graphics caress your eyeballs.

Following Nintendo’s preview event for its 3DS handheld earlier this week, bunches of exciting new information has emerged surrounding the device including date and price data, lists of features, and tons of announcements and reveals on new games.
In amongst all of this excitement, new batches of screenshots were released for a host of first-party Nintendo games scheduled for release on the 3DS this year, including Kid Icarus: Uprising, Mario Kart and Paper Mario.

On the back of an entire ton of screenshots for three known Nintendo 3DS games, we now have another unit of weight measurement’s worth of screenshots for three more 3DS games, this time revealing actual graphics for Animal Crossing, PilotWings Resort and Paper Mario… all set to appear on the 3DS sometime in the unknown future.
It would be safe to assume that some (if not all) of these games (like the other games) will be available to coincide with the release of the console itself (rumoured to be sooner than you think, but probably March 2011).
