EA has released its financial report for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2012. The report suggests that EA enjoyed a highly profitable period during the latest fiscal year with its digital distribution service Origin topping 11 million registered users and Mass Effect 3 taking over $200 million at retail.
A perfect storm of elements is brewing ahead of Crytek’s much anticipated announcement tomorrow, April 16th.
According to a report by Swedish videogame magazine, Game Reactor, as well as a bit of a slip-up on EA’s digital distribution service, Origin, it seems as though an announcement of Crysis 3 from Crytek and EA is imminent.
While many people will be doing some emergency Christmas shopping this weekend, PC gamers should rather head over to EA’s digital distribution platform Origin and pick up Battlefield 3 for half-price.
