If you’re looking for something a little different to play on your Kinect then be sure to check out Xbox LIVE Arcade title Haunt, which will cost you 800 Microsoft Points when it appears on the Marketplace this Wednesday (January 18th).
The game is co-developed by Japanese studio NanaOn-Sha and British-based developer Zoë Mode. Haunt is the brainchild of Masaya Matsuura - the man behind the innovative Parappa the Rapper series.
Do you know who Masaya Matsuura is? Well… in short, he’s the creator of a little PlayStation game called Parappa the Rapper, and quite possibly the inspiration and originator of the billion dollar music game genre, although I doubt that he’s seen very much of that money as Guitar Hero and Rock Band have gone on to suck up all of the revenue.
Anyways, Matsuura is a legend in the music game world, and after working on a number of projects in the interim, he’s recently appeared at Tokyo Game Show 2010 to show off his new game for Xbox 360 and Kinect, Haunt.
