While living in South Africa grants us the boon of laying claim to one of the most beautiful, diverse and exciting countries in the world, we can all agree that there are problems to deal with, too.
Problems of extreme poverty, appalling living conditions and a severe lack of education and freely available medical care are just some of the urgent issues we as South Africans must tackle in order to make our beautiful, diverse and exciting country a true ‘Land of Possibilities.’
There is another problem that South African videogame players face everyday, and that is online lag in our console multiplayer games.
South African importer and distributor of interactive video games, Megarom, revealed today that South African internet service provider MWEB has formed a partnership with Gameservers.com to exclusively host the online multiplayer portion of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
This partnership between Gameservers.com and MWEB is apparently a first for South African internet users, and will allow for “a superior network experience for online multiplayer gaming.”
