Twisted Pixel has informed us that the studio is set to make Ms. Splosion Man “awesomer” starting tomorrow thanks to another themed in-game challenge that this time packs a meaty reward for top participants - a juicy Omaha Steak!
It’s the weekend p33ps and we’ve collected together a bucket-load of ideas of what the El33tonline team will be up to for the next two days. As usual it’s a diverse list, ranging from zombie slaying to ‘sploding and even measuring brain age!
We’re all going to crawl into a hole this weekend and recover from another very busy week of writing, planning, thinking, perambulating and more writing, so if you’ll excuse us, we need to get caught up on a bit of relaxing after pasting up collections of news and reviews, while spying your entries for our Shadows of the Damned competition and accepting your online nicks for the wall of our rAge 2011 booth.
What will members of El33tonline be busying themselves with this weekend to achieve this mystical state of ‘relaxation’? Funny you ask, because we have a few answers for you below:

Twisted Pixel has today announced an official release date for the indie developer’s upcoming Xbox LIVE Arcade action platform game, Ms. Splosion Man, the follow-up to 2009’s classic Splosion Man.
When Twisted Pixel’s follow-up to the fan-favourite Splosion Man was announced late last year in the form of Ms. Splosion Man (basically Splosion Man with a bow… basically), ‘surprise,’ ‘bemusement’ and ‘delight’ ensued.
If you were bemused, and you think that you know the world of monsieur Splosion Man (and by extension, the mademoiselle variant), you’ll need to watch this extensive developer walkthrough video showcasing gameplay from the new title in order to discover all of the brand new features, locations and characters.
The video runs for over ten minutes, so square away some time, sit back, relax and watch Ms. Splosion Man run, explode, skate, destroy, backchat and slide her way through a wonderful new 2D platforming world created by the folks over at Twisted Pixel:
