After so many months of seeing little to no 3DS software represented in the top ten Media Create chart, isn’t it awesome to see all three podium spots occupied by 3DS titles?
Capcom’s Monster Hunter series has been utterly dominant in Japan in recent years, and this trend continues with Monster Hunter 3G / Tri G on 3DS. The game sold 521 959 copies during its first two days at retail, so come back next week to see how it fares over a full seven days.
Earlier this year, Nintendo confirmed the existence of a 3DS peripheral that is to add another analog circle pad to the handheld to allow for dual-analog control of upcoming games, including Capcom’s 3DS-exclusive Monster Hunter 3G.
Available in Japan on December 10th alongside the next Monster Hunter game the add-on will be known as the ‘Nintendo 3DS Expansion Slide Pad’ in the country, but if you’re living outside of Japan, the peripheral might be known as something different.
