Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe sees Midway pitting the likes of Scorpion, Sub Zero or Liu Kang against the famous characters from the DC Universe. See what happens when two worlds collide in our review of the game. We quite enjoyed the story mode and the new Rage meter and grappling moves.

Here’s another list, but of a completely different sort - the full character list for the upcoming, moderately anticipated Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe, coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 21st in the UK and Europe, while hitting US shores a bit earlier on November 18th.
Will old rivalries continue in this next new instalment of the Mortal Kombat series (hint: yes they will)? Are there unannounced, secret unlockable characters (hint: almost every MK game ever has had unlockable characters - you guess)? Will Sonya finally settle down and raise a family with Baraka (hint: no)?
The full list of characters appearing in MK VS DC Universe follows below (hint: contains characters from both Mortal Kombat and DC Universe).
The first new Mortal Kombat game on the current generation of consoles is highly anticipated, not only because it follows in a long line of Mortal Kombat games, starting in 1992, but this new version, Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe, features key characters from DC’s lineage of comics, from Superman and Batman, to Wonder Woman and The Flash. Key Mortal Kombat characters include Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade, Liu Kang and Scorpion.
While Midway have been pretty elusive regarding their series’ signature Fatality finishing moves, they’ve released a screenshot showing one of them off. If you remember playing the very first Mortal Kombat, then you’ll enjoy this homage to Scorpion’s original Fatality, flames spewing out of his exposed skull, torching Sub-Zero in the process. Hopefully we’ll see more soon!
Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe releases on the 21st of November in the UK and Europe, while the US release is set for November 18th.
Here are some new screenshots released for Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe, showing off the likes of Sonya, The Flash, Scorpion, Superman, Catwoman, Batman and what looks to be Shang Tsung, up to his usual soul-sucking techniques.
It’s looking good, hopefully with actual gameplay to match…
