It seems as though we’re in a bit of a post-holiday, pre-season lull here with the upcoming European PlayStation Store content publish, because there really isn’t all that much to write home about. Or write about, even.
Unless you’re interested in the classic PSOne game, Wild Arms. Or a full PlayStation 3 game, All Zombies Must Die. Or downloadable content for The King of Fighters XIII, Batman: Arkham City, MotorStorm Apocalypse or Rock Band 3.
And some miscellaneous videos and themes.
So it turns out there’s still some interesting content, not to mention some free stuff and discounts for PlayStation Plus members!

The absolute highlights of today’s European PlayStation Store include the addition of Alice: Madness Returns, DiRT 3 and Need For Speed: The Run as downloadable games, the appearance of Sonic CD on the store, a demo for GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, and Corpse Party for the PSP.
As always, there’s tons more content due to release on the European Store today (including classic PS One games), so look through the full list below and get ready to fill that virtual wallet!
So what’s on the menu with this week’s European PlayStation Store content publish?
As with last week, there’s not a lot of stand-out content on the way to your PS Store this week, but taken as a whole there’s still a significant amount of digital stuff coming soon to the virtual shelf, with Rayman Origins (tomorrow) in amongst a ton of special price offers, downloadable content and full game downloads.

Hmm… not a whole lot of particular excitement going on this week over at the European PlayStation Store, but don’t think for a second that you won’t find anything of interest!
We’ve got Uncharted 3, Need For Speed: The Run and Ace Combat: Assault Horizon downloadable content, new songs for Rock Band, demos for Start The Party! Save the World, LittleBigPlanet 2 and Cars 2, tons of Avatars as well as new themes and videos.

This week’s U.S. PlayStation Store update is a little thin on the ground compared to what we’ve seen previously. Even the traditional plethora of game add-ons is strangely absent. Despite the modest length of this week’s list, there’s still a couple of new additions to the Store worth mentioning.
Let’s begin with everyone’s favourite category - freebies! This week everyone on the PlayStation Network can download August’s episode of Qore without needing to have a cent in their account. The show usually costs $3 and is definitely worth picking up if you’ve got around 1.3 GB of bandwidth to spare and enjoy learning more about the PlayStation universe.
In amongst the usual assortment of game videos, themes, wallpapers and special price updates in this week’s US PlayStation Store update, you’ll find a deluge of new downloadable content (DLC) that will ably freshen up your current games, with add-ons and additions available for titles ranging from Cars 2, Mortal Kombat, LittleBigPlanet 2 and MotorStorm Apocalypse.
But something else lies within the depths of this PlayStation Store content publish… something great and powerful! Could it be… the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta?
It surely is, as this taster has recently gone live for all PlayStation Network users.

This week’s US PlayStation Store update is packed with quality content such as the Uncharted 3 Beta (exclusive to Plus members), as well as a slew of new demos (eight in total) to keep you in front of your PlayStation 3 for some time to come.
There’s also a new edition of Pulse to watch which looks at some of the latest movie releases on the Video section of the PlayStation Store.
Although there are no PSone classics on this week’s list to stir up some feelings of nostalgia, the varied assortment of add-ons, demos, trailers and downloadable games should be enough to console you until the next update goes live.
This week’s US PlayStation Store update doesn’t offer much in the way of new PS Plus content, but thankfully there’s plenty of DLC for some of this year’s biggest releases to keep you entertained.
These include a new map pack for Killzone 3; a fresh fresh LA Noire case for your Arson desk and a violent femme fatale to add to your Mortal Kombat character roster.
Like its European counterpart, the US PlayStation Store is now back to provide a mind-blowing amount of brand new digital delights for your PlayStation 3 and PSP devices.

Another week brings another US PlayStation Store update, and as always there’s plenty of new content to keep you entertained for the days ahead.
There are no new PS1 classics which is a bit of a disappointment since a lot of people were expecting Parasite Eve 2 to make a very welcome appearance on the store this week. On a more positive note, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is on sale for a mere $7.49. Snap this gem up quickly (if you haven’t already) before it goes back to full price.
There’re two new downloadable titles this week - StarDrone and Red Faction: Battlegrounds. Both seem like solid, thrilling additions to your PSN library, and the former utilises the PlayStation Move in case you’ve been hankering for some motion controlled gaming of late.
This is a massive content update for the US PlayStation Store, and while it may seem like a cliché, I’m going to say it anyway:
“There’s definitely something for everybody.”
It’s true! There are a ton of downloadable games this week (with the intriguing Moon Diver heading up the list), loads of game demos (with the intriguing Moon Diver heading up the list), new stuff for PlayStation Plus members, an explosive amount of new content for older games, and the usual assortment of videos, wallpapers and themes.
Oh, did I forget about the action platform game, Rush ‘N Attack: Ex-Patriot? It’s here too.
