It’s another chart-topping performance for Zumba Fitness from 505 Games, placing itself at No. 1 for the second week in a row against heavy-hitting opposition.
Sales for Zumba Fitness are only down by 8 percent overall this week, which is good enough for the top spot, and even though the Wii version of the game dropped by 10 percent in sales, this version accounted for 90 percent of units sold, with the older Xbox 360 iteration (sales up 14%) snapping up the rest.
The latest game to enter the extremely popular dancing genre has arrived in North America, and is due for release over the rest of this week in other parts of the world - I am of course referring to Michael Jackson: The Experience, a dancing game that’s now coming to Xbox 360 for Kinect, and PlayStation 3 for use with PlayStation Move!
The annual gamescom videogame event takes place from August 18th to the 22nd this year in Cologne, Germany, and Ubisoft will be there in full force to demonstrate their upcoming slate of games to press and consumers alike.
Visitors will for the first time be able to get their hands on ten new, unreleased Ubisoft titles at the company’s gamescom booth, including Michael Jackson: The Experience for the Wii, which will be playable in public for the first time ever.
