Nintendo of America has announced that a new DSi bundle will be available across the US on the 25th of April.

The bundle will include a white DSi and a copy of the popular RPG Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story – it will be sold at select US retailers for $169.99, the regular price point for the DSi.

The Mario RPG series (which sometimes also stars Luigi) is pretty much my favourite RPG series. It’s so good and so unconventional (despite actually having a lot of the conventions) that even if you don’t like RPG’s you really should give these games a try. If you do, you should definitely start with Bowser’s Inside Story – it’s the best game in the handheld Mario and Luigi series and it’s more accessible (and available) than the GameCube’s Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. In fact, this is one of the best games on the DS full stop.

Mario and Luigi are teaming up again, but this time their journey takes them on an exploration of Bowser’s insides!

Unveiled at Nintendo’s E3 press conference last night, Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story will be available for the DS and DSi this fall. This action RPG begins with Mario and Luigi being inhaled by Bowser after he eats a magic mushroom.
