As we’ve come to expect, a period of scheduled PlayStation Network maintenance is due to take place on May 24th (tomorrow) in an effort to “continue to deliver you a world-class online entertainment experience on your PS3 and PS Vita devices.”
The next scheduled PSN maintenance will take place on Wednesday, May 9th, Sony has announced. The maintenance will last eight hours from 4pm GMT (6pm SAST) to midnight.
Following the announcement that the US PlayStation Network would be receiving some downtime today due to a period of scheduled maintenance, it’s just been announced that the European PlayStation Network will also be inoperative starting today.
Have you heard of the ‘PlayStation Digital Platforms Community Management’ team? Don’t worry if you haven’t, because according to senior manager Matthew Harper, it’s a recently-formed group which holds itself to the following goal:
“Our mission is to keep you better informed about everything that is going on in the wide world of the PlayStation Network, to make your voice heard within the company, and to ensure that you, the gamer, are at the heart of every development across PSN.”
It’s first duty? To let PlayStation Network browsers in the US know that the service will be down tomorrow, April 16th.
The PlayStation Network maintenance that was scheduled to begin today has been postponed for the time being.
We may have brought you news last week that the PlayStation Network was to undergo a period of planned maintenance on Thursday, March 1st, but we’re here again to remind you of this network inactivity while confirming that the US PSN will also be affected.
The European PlayStation Network will undergo another round of scheduled maintenance next Thursday, meaning that all online services related to PSN will be unavailable for a 15-hour period.
In a post on the official European PlayStation forum, it’s been announced that a planned period of PlayStation Network maintenance will take place starting this Thursday afternoon and last until Friday morning.
It’s been announced that the European PlayStation Network will undergo another round of scheduled maintenance starting this Thursday afternoon, which means that all online services related to PSN will be unavailable.
Bad news for those of us planning on playing some Uncharted 3 tomorrow evening - the PlayStation Network in both the US and Europe will be offline due to a period of planned maintenance.
Heads-up: The European PlayStation Blog has let us know that the region’s PlayStation Network will be down for a few hours during the morning of October 27th (aka tomorrow).
There’s been a quick announcement on the European PlayStation Community site that a short period of scheduled PlayStation Network maintenance will take place tomorrow, June 15th.

According to a news post on the official European PlayStation website, scheduled PlayStation Network maintenance will take place later today, and will last until very early tomorrow, which means we’re due for another (much, much shorter) period of PSN downtime, only this time we know when it’s going to happen!
Just a quick heads up that the European PlayStation Network is offline for scheduled maintenance from today until tomorrow.
According to a post on SCEE’s PlayStation Blog the scheduled maintenance will run “from 16:05 on Thursday 18 November 2010 until 01:00 on Friday 19 November 2010, GMT.” During this time you won’t be able to access the PlayStation Store on the PS3 and PSP, the PlayStation Network Account Management and the PlayStation Network Account Registration.
The US PlayStation Network is also undergoing “regular scheduled maintenance” today.
The maintenance will kick off at 8am Pacific and according to Sony will last “several hours” until round about 8:30pm Pacific. You won’t be able to access the PlayStation Store or Account Management during this time and may also experience some difficulty when signing in to PSN.
