Capcom has announced that three of its Platinum hits for the Xbox 360 will be available in one package titled the Platinum Hits Triple Pack next month.

The bundle will include Dead Rising, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (Colonies Edition) and Devil May Cry 4, and will be available on the 8th of September for $39.99.

According to the publisher, the three games combined have sold over 3 million units in the US.

Capcom is releasing the PS3 multiplayer demo for Lost Planet: Extreme Condition on US PlayStation Network today. The demo is limited to a single multiplayer map titled Pirate Fortress and it supports 8 players. The full game which is due out on the 26th February will allow 16 players.

In the demo you are able to try out two of the four multiplayer modes. The first being Elimination which equates to your typical deathmatch scenario and the second being Team Elimination. Post Grab and Fugitive are two additional modes which will be available in the retail version.

Word on the street is that Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is headed to the PS3. This previous Xbox 360 exclusive is touted to be available in early 2008 on the PS3, featuring all bonus characters from the PC version as well as extra downloadable content from the 360 version. The PS3 version will also boast 16 player online gaming over the PlayStation Network.

Capcom announced this little nugget at their Gamers Day in London, in what appears to be an effort to lure back the PS3 fans they lost over the whole Monster Hunter 3 changing from PS3 exclusive to Wii exclusive last week. I wonder if Microsoft will recall the 360 version which brazenly declares it to be an ‘Only on Xbox 360.’
