El33tonline was fortunate enough to attend gamescom 2010 in Cologne, Germany last month. We got to spend some amazing hands-on time with a vast number of awesome games and chat to their developers. Certainly the highlight was meeting some of the industry’s icons.

All in all it was an amazing experience that enabled us to share a wealth of information with you, our readers. We hope to be back next year to continue bringing unique quality content to the South African gaming community.

Warner Bros has just released a new trailer for Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest, this one showing exactly what Aragorn can do with a Move powered sword.

“Aragorn’s Quest is set to the story of Samwise Gamgee. Eight years after the War of the Ring he is now Mayor of Hobbiton. While preparing for a visit from King Elesar, Sam retells the tales of his adventure to his children and of the King when he was the warrior Aragorn.”

We visited Middle-Earth today with Steve Pritchard, Development Director of Headstrong Games, and Scott Warr, taking us through the new action adventure title. Our time was spent observing the Move controller in action on the PlayStation 3 console which I also later got to try myself on the show floor. It really allows you to get those meaty slashes and thrusts in as well as allowing you to protect yourself with the shield.
