A few weeks ago now, El33tonline and Megarom teamed up to bring you a LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars competition to give you a chance of owning one of two Xbox 360 copies of this charming co-operative adventure game set in the ‘Clone Wars’ time period of Star Wars.
Now, the time has come to announce the winners!
Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is the latest entry in the successful franchise by Traveller’s Tales where cult classics are given the ‘Lego treatment.’ These include Harry Potter, Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Caribbean. The games include humorous, voiceless skits in-between gameplay scenarios which tie in with the plots of the intellectual properties on which they are based. The characters and vehicles in these titles resemble Lego creations and the games are always child friendly.
This time round the game is based on the first two seasons of The Clone Wars TV series, the film by the same name, as well as Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. So don’t get confused by the ‘III’ in the title and think it refers to Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith!

It’s another chart-topping performance for Zumba Fitness from 505 Games, placing itself at No. 1 for the second week in a row against heavy-hitting opposition.
Sales for Zumba Fitness are only down by 8 percent overall this week, which is good enough for the top spot, and even though the Wii version of the game dropped by 10 percent in sales, this version accounted for 90 percent of units sold, with the older Xbox 360 iteration (sales up 14%) snapping up the rest.
Well isn’t this a surprise?
After rocketing into the coveted Top Ten list of best selling games in the UK last week, Chart Track is reporting that Zumba Fitness (sales down 49%) is this week’s number one top seller in the region, surpassing two-time chart topper Crysis 2 to get there.
Chart Track tells us that this is the first time a title from 505 Games has hit No. 1, and is the first fitness game since Wii Fit Plus in late 2009 to achieve the feat.
As a result, Crysis 2 (sales down 57%) has to move to unfamiliar ground and occupies No. 2 on the listing.
TT Games’ latest LEGO-themed game was recently launched around the world for basically every gaming platform, and wouldn’t you know it, LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is just as charming, humorous and downright solid as any of the developer’s previous LEGO titles!
To provide you with a chance of getting your hands on this brand new LEGO game, El33tonline and Megarom have teamed up to give away two copies of LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars for Xbox 360, and this time we’re digging into your childhood!
To enter the contest, simply head on over to El33tonline’s LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Competition page, and share with us a specific memory that we require of you…

In a week full of new game releases in the UK, it’s EA and Crytek’s mighty Crysis 2 that manages to claim the top spot on Chart Track’s software sales chart for the region, sitting at No. 1 for the second week in a row.
This week, Chart Track’s UK Software sales listing is invaded by no less than nine titles for the Nintendo 3DS, as seven of those games make it into the Top Twenty, but which multiplatform game managed to rise above the rest and hit No. 1 on the chart?
Crysis 2.
While a demo for LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars was recently released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, and we have confirmed release dates for both of these platforms, question marks were hanging over the release window for the 3DS iteration of TT Games and LucasArts’ latest LEGO-themed adventure game.
No more, though.
A demo for TT Games and LucasArts’ latest LEGO-themed action adventure game, LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, has just hit Xbox LIVE Marketplace, giving you a chance to get to grips with the game in environments based in space and on terra firma.
When LEGO Star Wars III was first announced, director at TT Games Tom Stone commented that “The team at TT is working hard at making this simply the best LEGO game ever with all new gameplay and features never before seen in a LEGO game,” and now that this title is due for release real soon (March 22nd in the US and March 25th in Europe and the UK), you can decide on the developer’s efforts for yourself with the taster.
Get yourself up to speed on LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars below with trailers, screenshots and an official demo description:
