The latest set of downloadable content (DLC) for Left 4 Dead 2 has recently been unleashed upon unwitting zombie hunters running around Xbox LIVE, but this time there’s a twist – this content is also available for the original Left 4 Dead.
If you’re looking to freshen up your Left 4 Dead 1 or 2 experience, then this DLC, entitled The Sacrifice, is definitely what you’re looking for, and is priced at 560 MS Points.

Valve has announced that the first game add-on for Left 4 Dead 2 will be available tomorrow for the Xbox 360 and PC. Xbox 360 gamers will have to cough up 560 MS Points for the new DLC while PC gamers can get their hands on it for free.
Zombie fighting fans rejoice because the first downloadable content for Left 4 Dead 2 will be coming this week.
Titled ‘The Passing,’ the DLC will include a “wicked witch bride, a gargantuan M60 and a slashing golf club.” Gamers can also look forward to meeting three Left 4 Dead 1 survivors in the new DLC as well as a new enemy called the Fallen Survivor. It will also include new game modes!
During Microsoft’s X10 event, Valve was on-hand to show off new downloadable content (DLC) for their cooperative zombie shooter, Left 4 Dead 2, while also announcing that new DLC will soon become available for their original Left 4 Dead title.
Electronic Arts posted a net loss of $82 million for its third fiscal quarter ending December 31st 2009, down a whopping $641 million compared to the same period the year previous, but as net losses fell, so too did the publisher’s revenue for the quarter.
