The first downloadable content for NeverDead will arrive on the 22nd of February.
According to Konami the DLC, titled NeverDead Expansion Pack Volume 1, “expands the online element of the game, with a new playable character, three new challenges within the expanded Asylum level and two new online costumes for the game’s immortal hero, Bryce Boltzmann.”
It’s time for gamers the world over to experience the fantastical headless and limbless action antics of Bryce Boltzmann, a demon hunter who has been sentenced to a life of immortality after losing everything he had 500 years ago.
NeverDead is certainly of the more unique games scheduled for release in 2012 with a protagonist who can be blown to smithereens only to put himself back to together, body part by body part, and who is also able to remove his limbs and head to use as stealth and distraction tools.
At its heart, NeverDead is a story-based action game with a huge collection of weaponry and a menagerie of hideous creatures to destroy, but the inclusion of the immortal Bryce as a main character is interesting indeed!
After delays, promises of releases dates, and then even more delays, Konami has announced when gamers the world over will be able to pick up Silent Hill: Downpour on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and we don’t have too much longer to prepare our bowels and bladders for the publisher’s next survival horror action game.
Not only that, but dates for Silent Hill HD Collection and Silent Hill Book of Memories for PS Vita have also been revealed - creepy overload!
Games remastered in HD don’t have the best track record when it comes to releasing on time, and unfortunately the Silent Hill HD Collection continues this trend.
Konami has announced that the compilation of Silent Hill 2 and 3 for Xbox 360 and PS3 will miss its scheduled January 24th release date, and will now arrive at retailers sometime in March.
Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is one of the most anticipated titles coming to 3DS next year, and for good reason too. The third game in the Metal Gear Solid series is considered by many to be the best, featuring innovative gameplay mechanics (such as camouflage) and a compelling storyline set during the Cold War.
The Metal Gear Solid series has earned a special place in the hearts of millions of gamers from all corners of the world since its debut in 1998. Now Kojima Productions is inviting you to share your fondest memories of this five-game franchise on the Metal Gear Solid Interactive Timeline.
Hideo Kojima and Konami’s sword-slashing action title Metal Gear Rising has finally re-emerged into the world with an barnstormingly insane ‘revengeance’ trailer, showcasing Metal Gear Solid’s Raiden as he slices, dices and chops enemies into bits with lightning-quick katana attacks.
There may or may not be slow motion sequences and Raiden may or may not hurl a building-sized robot into the air and then proceed to destroy said robot a kilometre above ground. Who can say for sure?
But if that action is in the latest trailer for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, it’s not the craziest thing to happen…
Konami has formally announced that the publisher’s unique-looking action shooter, NeverDead, will be available early next year for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, while a massive batch of new screenshots were released to accompany the reveal.
Fans of Konami’s classic survival horror series of action games are soon going to be spoiled for choice with no less than three different experiences set to appear in early 2012, all set in the creepy, stomach-churning universe of Silent Hill.
The Metal Gear Solid series has been one of the best reasons to own a PlayStation system ever since the first game made its debut back in 1998. Although various entries in the franchise were released on PC and Xbox, games like Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker remained exclusive to the PS2 and PSP respectively.

The writing has been on the wall for some time now, but Konami has only recently confirmed that the release of Silent Hill: Downpour has been moved into 2012.
When Konami’s PES 2012 releases around the world over the week of October 11th, the publisher will ensure gamers have a little something extra (and free) to look forward to in the game with the addition of downloadable content that aims to update player team rosters, as well as revise a few of the settings for the game’s clubs and players.
