What’s better than one Kirby, the pink ball-shaped character we know and love? 10 Kirby’s of course! The Kirby and Donkey Kong series seem to be Nintendo’s testing grounds for new gameplay ideas and the recent Kirby experiments, Kirby Power Paintbrush and Kirby’s Epic Yarn, have both been a huge success in my eyes. Nintendo fans in South Africa, it’s time to get extra eager because Core Gaming (South African distributors of Nintendo games and consoles) has today confirmed dates and prices for a host of upcoming 3DS, DS and Wii titles in the country, with dates announced for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Mario Kart 7 and Kirby Mass Attack, amongst others.
We’ve also recently received word about the impressive list of Nintendo 3DS games that will be on show at rAge 2011 this week!
Even in this day and age of internet scoops, Nintendo managed to surprise us with a few announcements at the publisher’s E3 press conference this year.
At the top of the list was the Wii U, Nintendo’s next home console and the successor to the Wii. The tablet-like controller for the Wii U has a touchscreen, dual analogue circle pads, motion controls, speakers, a microphone and a camera. The controller screen can be used instead of or along with HDTV.
Great news for Kirby fans, not only can you look forward to Kirby Wii before the end of the year, but you can also enjoy Kirby: Mass Attack on the Nintendo DS this September.
That’s right folks, Kirby: Mass Attack will be available across the US on the 19th of September for $29.99.
