Today, Xbox 360 South Africa has confirmed that the country will also be receiving this limited edition bundle with price and release date information in tow, while everybody’s favourite Xbox frontman Major Nelson has released an excellent video overview of the bundle, too.
Microsoft has today announced a very stylish-looking, limited edition bundle that includes a white Xbox 360 and controller, as well as a pristine white Kinect device.

Mass Effect and Heavy Rain were two titles that came out tops at the British Academy Video Games Awards (BAFTA) recently held in London.
Heavy Rain walked away with three BAFTAs, for Original Music, Technical Innovation and Story. Mass Effect was crowned Best Game, applauded for being a “combined achievement of technology, art, design [and] audio… a beautiful complete gaming experience.”
Forming part of Microsoft Game Studios’ controller-free gaming spearhead is Kinect Sports for Xbox 360 and Kinect, a collection of sports-themed mini-games that require gamers to mimic the real-life movements of a variety of physical activities in front of the Kinect device to interact with the game.
What this means is that you’ll soon be deftly throwing air punches, frantically running on the spot, intensely curling your arm, swiping with your hands in a frenzy, kicking, jumping and lots more in an effort to increase your score and defeat your friends in the included range of sports games.
Fortunately, it all works amazingly well.

As you may have already guessed, Microsoft’s Kinect controller-free motion control gaming device launched in the US today, and with it, a host of games for gamers (and non-gamers) to experience a whole new way of interacting with virtual worlds, not to mention a whole new way to interact with your Xbox 360!
While we wait for the launch of Kinect here in South Africa (and other regions such as the UK and Europe) next week on November 10th, we’ve put together a healthy collection of El33tonline’s previous impressions of the some of the top games now available in the US for Kinect.
It’s a well known fact within the gaming fraternity that mini-game collections sell well. Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort are two examples, light-hearted sports mini-games that are great fun to play at a party or just with a bunch of friends, but also with a challenging enough single player mode to keep you entertained for a good number of hours.
So what’s the winning formula that Nintendo seem to have stumbled upon when it comes to mini-game collections? I would argue that the games must be easy to pick-up-and-play, suitable for players of all ages and, perhaps most importantly, they must be fun! Luckily for Kinect Sports all of these ingredients are present and Microsoft seems to have an exciting title baking in the Kinect oven for all you gamers out there.

Following the announcement that Microsoft’s controller-free, motion-sensing gaming device, Project Natal, has now officially been renamed Kinect, a number of new games and applications have been revealed that will be available for use with the technology when it’s released later this year.
