inFamous: Festival of Blood will be available on the PlayStation Store this week.
Festival of Blood gives players a new story and Cole new powers. That’s right folks, the most requested power has been included, Shadow Swarm, which gives Cole the ability to fly with Bat wings.
Sony has revealed the fall line-up for the PlayStation Move, giving details of launch dates for a number of upcoming Move enabled titles.
Following the release of the latest US videogame industry sales report by The NPD Group, Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony have each responded to the market performance of their consoles and games for the month of June 2011, with Microsoft having the most reasons to celebrate:
This week’s Media Create software chart is a departure from the Japanese dominated list we’ve grown accustomed to in the past. Four out of the top five titles were developed by Western studios, with L.A. Noire stepping all over inFamous 2 to cross the finish line in first place.
It’s interesting to note that both games were dished out a CERO Z rating in Japan, which is equivalent to an AO (Adults Only) rating in North America. The difference lies in that CERO Z games can be sold in regular game outlets while AO titles are only available through select avenues.

No new game release managed to claim the top spot on Chart Track’s UK Software Sales listing this past week because they were all thwarted by the latest chart hero, Zumba Fitness.
Stepping up from No. 3 the week previous to No. 1 this week, Zumba Fitness has been showing signs of domination for a while now following its reign at the top weeks ago, and not only is the title sitting in the throne, but it beat The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D to do it.
