This month is packed to the bursting brim with exciting, important, explosive and otherwise amazing videogames, and may just represent the best month of gaming we’ve enjoyed so far in 2011.
We’ve rounded up a list of titles releasing over the next few weeks of June, and members of El33tonline talk about the games they’re most looking forward to getting their hands on from now until the month’s dying breath.
Did we mention June is packed with games? Is it ever:
inXile Entertainment and Bethesda Softworks’ cooperative dungeon crawling action RPG, Hunted: The Demon’s Forge, is scheduled for release a little later this year, and by the looks of a new trailer will offer up a little something different for fans of the genre… a little something like Gears of War and Dragon Age mixed together, with liberal doses of cinematic flair thrown in for good measure.
To get a feel for how much action is going to be packed into this title, head on down below for a look at some cooperative in-game exploits featured in Hunted: The Demon’s Forge:
E3 2010 is under two weeks away now, set to take place from June 15th to 17th (although Microsoft will start proceedings early thanks to its Project Natal reveal), and we’re going to be getting further looks and full reveals of a bunch of new videogames and hardware – both announced and unknown.
Bethesda Softworks will be at E3 in full force, showing off no less than four titles from its upcoming line-up of games, three of which will provide attendees with “hands-on time” while the fourth will be shown in a “new presentation.”
Director of PR for Bethesda Softworks Tracey Thompson gives us the low-down:
Bethesda Softworks will be publishing Hunted: The Demon’s Forge, a third person co-op fantasy action game.
Hunted, also described as a “next gen co-op dungeon romp,” is currently being developed by inXile Entertainment for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Brian Fargo (known for his work on Baldur’s Gate and Fallout) is overseeing the game’s development while Michael Kaufman (who served as Art Director on Return to Castle Wolfenstein) is the game’s director.
