Publishing and development house, Majesco, has unveiled a new label for their casual, family-friendly Wii games called Go Play.
Go Play will initially see the release of three games under the label, namely Go Play Lumberjax, Go Play City Sports and Go Play Circus Star, all of which emphasise the use of motion-control based gaming, and utilise the Wii Balance Board.
Go Play Lumberjax will be the label’s debut title, releasing in late spring, with acitivities that include those you would find in a lumberjack game, such as sawing, chopping and climbing of trees.
Go Play City Sports, a summer release under the label, will contain six ‘street’ versions of classic games, with obstacles in the form of cars and manholes. Go Play Circus Star will follow in the fall, which features fifteen circus-themed games.
“The Go Play brand is intended to deliver on the promise of active, fun, family friendly game experiences,” says Majesco’s EVP of operations Gui Karyo. “Our first three products intermix every day activities with imagination to define an overarching label that means ‘motion-based fun for everyone.’”
