Atari has announced that the publisher’s big game for February, Test Drive Unlimited 2, has gone gold and is one hundred percent complete, which means the title is ready for its US release on February 8th, and its European, UK and South African release on February 11th.

Ubisoft has confirmed that the third home console entry to the ambitious Assassin’s Creed franchise is officially ‘done,’ and has been sent off for mass production so it’s able to make its mid-November launch dates around the world.

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood looks to be a mighty game indeed, complete with a full singleplayer campaign as well as a fully featured multiplayer component, and in a new trailer released for the game, we get to learn of the deep, dark troubles that have enveloped the city of Rome, the new location for the series.

However, the video also tells of “a new dawn” approaching Rome in the form of the brotherhood of Assassins, lead by protagonist Ezio, who will wrestle control of the city from its oppressors and lead the people out of troubled times, and into prosperity:

The official news from Bethesda Softworks is that Fallout: New Vegas has gone gold.

According to a post on the developer’s blog its “officially finished and off to manufacturing.” Good news for those fans looking forward to the game’s release on October 19th in the US, and October 22nd in Europe and the UK, on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Bungie has confirmed that Halo: Reach has gone gold, nearly a month and a half before the game is scheduled to hit shelves.

The news comes from Bungie executive producer Joseph Tung who confirmed that the final instalment in the Halo franchise had indeed gone gold in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald.

Alpha Protocol Box ArtSega has announced that Obsidian Entertainment’s espionage RPG Alpha Protocol has gone gold. The game is scheduled to be released across Europe on the 28th of May for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and on the 1st of June in North America.

The game is set in the world of thrilling espionage action, complete with underhanded government tactics, secret agent operatives and the threat of impending nuclear war.
