Atari has released a new downloadable content challenge pack for Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime.
The Challenge Pack promises to bring “hours of a new single player experience” with two new game modes, Lonely Hero and Arcade Challenge. The new add-on content is available now on Xbox LIVE Arcade and Steam for 160 MS Points.
Atari has gone and announced a release date for its upcoming downloadable Ghostbusters game for PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE Arcade and PC, Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime.
We’ve also managed to find a new trailer revealing a few of the environments you and three of your friends will be running around in (and some of the nasties you’ll be busting) over the course of this cooperative isometric action shooter.
Following the reveal late last week courtesy of USA Today, Atari has gone and officially announced the downloadable title, Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime, for Xbox 360 via Xbox LIVE Arcade, the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network, and the PC via download.
Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime is a four-player cooperative action title played from a top-down perspective that lets you take on the role of a paranormal investigating (and zapping) Ghostbuster. This time, you’ll be playing as a rookie hired by the Ghostbusters crew to save New York City “from a disaster of ghoulish proportions.”
Again?!
The fearless poltergeist-destroying, PKE Meter-reading squad of Ghostbusters are set to return to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in mid-2011, when Atari, Sony and Wanako’s Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime releases as a downloadable title over the platforms’ respective methods of digital distribution.
