Following the surprise (but expected) announcement of a massively multiplayer online RPG set in Bethesda’s epic Elder Scrolls universe, an official reveal and teaser trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online has been unleashed.
The trailer warns:
“As enemies rise faster than allies, salvation cannot come from one hero alone… but from many!”

The February cover of Game Informer magazine has been unveiled, and with it, an announcement of XCOM: Enemy Unknown from strategy masters Firaxis Games.
With the reveal of Game Informer’s next magazine cover, Activision has formally announced Transformers: Fall of Cybertron for release next year.
Fall of Cybertron is described as the successor to the “critically acclaimed War for Cybertron,” and is said to include the “epic battles that shaped the history of the Autobots and Decepticons.”
The rumours swirled and reports were filed, but no official announcement had been made by either publisher 2K Games or developer Gearbox, but now today, the confirmation has arrived.
Bethesda Softworks has today revealed a brand new intellectual property by the name of Dishonored, a first-person stealth action game currently in development at Arkane Studios – the first project undertaken by the studio since being acquired by Zenimax Media in 2010.
Laudable videogame magazine Game Informer will feature the art of comic book luminary Joe Madureira on the cover of its next issue, celebrating the full reveal of Vigil Games’ Darksiders II.
This news arrived ahead of an official announcement for the sequel to 2010’s outstanding original Darksiders game, but instead of playing as Horseman of the Apocalypse ‘War,’ you’ll this time explore the world of the Abyss as ‘Death’ while attempting to redeem the reputation of his fiery-tempered brother.
As Death, players will be tasked with the restoration of humanity following its destruction during the events of the Apocalypse, while taking advantage of a full weapon and armour upgrade system, traversing “bigger and more challenging dungeons” and encountering “a vast array of new enemies and bosses” on the your journey.

After nearly a week of rumour and speculation, it’s been revealed that the June edition of Game Informer will bring the world its first cascade of information on the next Assassin’s Creed game from Ubisoft: Assassin’s Creed Revelations!
In the 12-page cover story, Game Informer will let us know about how “how each of the franchise’s major characters - Altaďr, Ezio, and Desmond - play a part in the story [of Assassin’s Creed Revelations], and how you’ll control each of the three as playable characters.”

Square Enix has just announced the existence of a brand new Tomb Raider game, currently in development at franchise stewards Crystal Dynamics.
The new Tomb Raider title, previously rumoured to be a reboot of the series, finds franchise-long hero Lara Croft embarking on her very first adventure after a storm destroys the boat she was travelling on, and leaves her stranded on an unknown beach in an unknown part of the world.
Much unlike the Lara Croft we know now, this new adventure will see her as a “frightened young woman,” left on her own to survive in a brutal new world against unknown challenges… and enemies:
Thanks to the release of videogame magazine Game Informer (the latest issue with the Batman cover story), a few juicy details have emerged regarding story and gameplay included in next year’s Batman: Arkham City from Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
According to Game Informer, the story behind the creation of Arkham City goes a little something like this:
