Xbox LIVE Logo SmallerXbox LIVE Gold members are in for a real treat this week, as you’ll not simply have access to price reductions for just one Xbox LIVE Arcade game, or a handful of Xbox Avatar accessories – no, no, no, nothing as pedestrian as that.

For one week only, Xbox LIVE Gold members will be able to buy Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Max Payne 2 or the original Fable for the low-low price of 800 MS Points apiece, as 400 MS Points are skimmed off of each title.

What are you waiting for, an invitation? Go get yourself some classic games!

Fable 1 Box ArtAnnounced during Major Nelson’s most recent podcast, the original Fable, released as an Xbox Original, will be available this week at a reduced price through Xbox LIVE Marketplace as this week’s Xbox LIVE Deal of the Week.

Fable 1 will be available to Xbox LIVE Gold members for the lowered price of 800 MS Points, down from the 1200 MS Points price point for which it was previously available.

So if you’ve got the points, and if you’ve never experienced Lionhead’s slightly altered take on the RPG genre, you should definitely give the original Fable a go.
