A little while ago Nintendo unveiled Excitebots: Trick Racing, a sequel to the popular Wii launch title Excite Truck.

Last week Nintendo Power revealed the first real information about the game as well as the first screens. Now you can get up close and personal with the first trailer for the game. Enjoy the Super Sandwich and Super Red Bar below!

Excitebots: Trick Racing launches exclusively on the Wii on the 20th of April.

Last week Nintendo announced Excitebots: Trick racing, a sequel to the popular Wii launch title Excite Truck.

The only details the publisher gave about the game was that it had “elements that make it one of the more unique racing games on the market” and that it “lets everyone in the family use the Wii Wheel accessory in unique and changing environments, play fun minigames and perform crazy tricks in a game that builds on the Excitebike and Excite Truck franchises.”

The latest issue of Nintendo Power has not only revealed more information about the game, but the first screens too! It seems as if the magazine is blown away by the game so far, saying “as much as we loved ‘Truck, Bots is set to blow right past it as one of the top-arcade-style racers on the Wii.”

Head over to Nintendo Power for a closer look at the first screens and some more details about racing robotic bugs in the game. Hint: Get ready to race as a ladybug, grasshopper, beetle or even a mantis using the same control method as Excite Truck.
