Kratos, undisputable ‘god’ of all things ‘war’ in the videogame world, may just see an appearance in the PlayStation 3 version of next year’s Mortal Kombat reboot as a story character, if a report on consumer site StickSkills is anything to go by.
According to the site, and after reading over the January issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine, it’s being reported that God of War protagonist (and all-round furious dude) Kratos will show up in Ed Boon and NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat reboot.
Yes that’s right! Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has today announced that a new Mortal Kombat head-to-head fighting game is in development for the Xbox 360 and PS3, slated for release in 2011.
