Square Enix and Eidos have just put out an amazingly awesome gamescom gameplay trailer for next year’s first-person action adventure game, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, showing actual in-game footage from the title.

In the video, the protagonist effortlessly slays and butchers his enemies with reckless abandon, using an array of stylish body enhancements and gadgets to make quick work of anyone foolish enough to get in his way.

It all looks fantastic!

Deus Ex: Human Revolution impressed us with its superb CG trailer ahead of E3 last week, giving us some indication of what environments, gameplay and abilities we can expect from the full first-person action adventure experience next year.

The first batch of released screenshots for Human Revolution go a little way further in showing us the intended art style for the game, while the heavy (and touted) ‘black and gold’ colour palette comes through nicely in-game.

Eidos LogoEarlier in the week we brought you news of the line-up that Square Enix and its partners were planning on showing us at next week’s E3 expo.

Now Eidos, a subsidiary of Square Enix, has confirmed that it will be showing three games at E3, and you better believe it they are all goodies: Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.

It’s no secret that Deus Ex: Human Revolution is one of El33tonline’s most anticipated showings at next week’s E3 expo. We’re expecting a lot from this game, but given the recent release of their jaw-dropping CG trailer we don’t think we’ll be disappointed, especially given the fact that Square Enix has decked the Los Angeles Convention Center out with two huge advertisements for the title, one a poster and the other a video.

A jaw-dropping CG trailer for Eidos’ Deus Ex: Human Revolution has just been released, and it’s insane.

Revealing the futuristic world in which the game takes place, with a few story hints thrown in, the trailer shows off a few of the possible human modifications you may be able to employ during the game in order to turn yourself into a smoothly operating death dealer.

Eidos Montreal has dropped a teaser trailer for the studio’s upcoming Deus Ex 3, revealing that we as mere humans are but a steppingstone towards the next stage of evolution, and that in the next entry to the venerable first-person RPG franchise, we’ll once again gain access to all kinds of organic implants and improvements to make ourselves… better… stronger… faster.

A new piece of information coming out of GDC this year is that Deus Ex won’t feature multiplayer of any kind, as the game’s director Jean-Francois Dugas says:
