Last week we mentioned reports of a delay for Twisted Metal in Europe and associated regions, with a chance of content cuts being made to Eat Sleep Play’s explosive car combat game.
Head of the project David Jaffe has unfortunately confirmed the news and a new release date for Twisted Metal in Europe, simply stating on Twitter:
Reports doing the rounds this morning indicate that the release of Twisted Metal in Europe and related regions may have been delayed into March.
Capcom has announced today that Dragon’s Dogma has been delayed into May in the US and will now released alongside the European version of the game.
Rockstar Games has just announced that the release of the studios’ next action game, Max Payne 3, has been pushed back into May 2012, past it’s originally revealed launch window of March.
If you’ve been following the development of 2K Marin’s (Australia) first-person shooter set in the venerable XCOM franchise, then you shouldn’t be at all surprised that the game’s release has been delayed into 2013.
SEGA’s robot-imbued action game, Binary Domain, has been in and out of videogame headlines very sporadically since its announcement in late 2010, but the release of the game is all-of-a-sudden upon us, and is now due for release at the end of February (as opposed to the previously announced mid-February launch).
At this point, it might just be better for Ubisoft to say the game is “done when it’s done.”

That’s right - the release of EA’s snowboarding extravaganza, SSX, has once again been delayed, this time by a few weeks into late February (in North America) and early March (everywhere else).
3DS owners the world over can stop holding onto any hope of receiving new features for the handheld via a promised firmware update this month, because Nintendo has confirmed that the planned hardware revision has been delayed.

Originally due for release on all platforms on October 18th in the US and October 21st in Europe and the UK, the launch of Batman: Arkham City has been delayed for one of these platforms… and it isn’t Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3.
Even though we got some good news from Nintendo in the way of release dates this week, we also learnt that Kid Icarus: Uprising has been delayed into 2012.
