Hidden Path, developer of the critically acclaimed tower defence game Defense Gride, has announced that an expansion pack for the game will soon become available for both the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.

Entitled Defense Grid: Resurgence, the expansion pack has been split up into four separate map packs, one of which will be released every week for the four weeks of June.

Each map pack will cost a measly $0.99, or 80 MS Points, and will include two maps apiece, totalling eight new “highly polished and balanced maps,” each of which provide “new environments and strategic experiences, requiring new ways of thinking to beat back the aliens and protect the cores.”
