EA has revealed a collector’s edition for Dead Space 2, complete with awesome bonus content and exclusives of course!
The Dead Space 2 Collector’s Edition will include a bundle of limited edition items including a copy of the game (on the PS3, Xbox 360 or PC), a replica of Isaac’s Plasma Cutter modelled from the new design with trigger activated LED lights, as well as the original soundtrack from the game and a concept art lithograph.
You may already know that Dead Space: Ignition arrived on Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network a little earlier this week. But did you watch the explosive launch trailer for the game yet?

Well, you’re in for a treat because we have it right here, well a little bit below actually.

We’ve got the long-awaited Sonic T. Hedgehog game, Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1, the latest (and hopefully greatest) 2D game to emerge from the inner sanctums of SEGA (and co-developer Dimps) featuring the new adventures of that extremely speedy member of the erinaceinae family.
No, the other one. The blue one.
Also appearing on Xbox LIVE Arcade today is the puzzle game Dead Space: Ignition, a title that features three different mini-games and tells a story that serves as the prologue to Dead Space 2.

Can you believe it’s that time of the week again? That’s right folks, it’s time for the US PlayStation Store update!
This week you can look forward to a Halloween Collection with Burn Zombie Burn, Silent Hill as well as Halloween-themed DLC and themes. You’ll also be able to download Episode I of Sonic The Hedgehog 4 and Dead Space Ignition! The demo for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II has also arrived along with the new Psycho theme pack for Dead Rising 2.
Finally there’s a whole bunch of content on special as well as the usual assortment of downloadable content, themes, trailers and songs for you to enjoy.

Gamers looking forward to January 2011’s horror-themed action game, Dead Space 2, will be pleased to know that they won’t have to wait too much longer to get another dose of Dead Space action, as EA has announced that a prequel title, Dead Space: Ignition, is slated to release a little later this year on the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
This new adventure, taking place just hours before the events of Dead Space 2, will task players with surviving a Necromorph outbreak (those alien/zombie nasties found in the original game) on a massive space station called ‘The Sprawl,’ all while witnessing how such a disaster could ever happen in the first place.
