Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One will be available on Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow. It will cost 1 600 Microsoft Points.

A collaboration between Hothead Games and Penny Arcade, Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One is the first episodic RPG adventure game to arrive on XBLA.

In Episode One players will descend into a ‘deranged 1920’s comic-book-meets-pulp-horror universe’ called New Arcadia. Players will join forces with Gabe and Tycho of the Startling Developments Detective Agency as they face bizarre enemies with unconventional weapons to solve New Arcadia’s mysteries.

The game offers players the chance to design and customize their character, the ability to transfer the stats and inventories of your customised character to future episodes (or start fresh) as well as a turn based combat system featuring over-the-top animations and team-up moves during enemy battles. You can also look forward to new material which is scheduled to be released regularly.
