EA and developer Danger Close recently gave gamers the chance to ask questions of former Tier 1 Operators, highly trained and lethal soldiers who have completed dangerous tours of duty in warzones around the world.
Danger Close is currently working with a number of these former Operators to bring a higher level of authenticity to the studio’s upcoming Medal of Honor: Warfighter, and forwarded on “hundreds” of community questions to one of these soldiers, who chose a few to answer in the first round of the series.
It’s good to know the folks at EA and Danger Close have a good sense of humour, even if the joke may end up being at the expense of their fans…
… OK, it was a good joke but we hope the team follows up with a proper reveal soon instead of this cake-based screenshot impostor!
Following a celebration of some description, creative director on Medal of Honor at Danger Close, Kristoffer Bergqvist, tweeted:
EA and Danger Close have just released a trailer showcasing in-game footage for the pair’s Medal of Honor: Warfighter for the very first time - don’t waste any more time and watch below!
After that incredible trailer snuck out onto the ‘net, EA and developer Danger Close have together formally announced Medal of Honor: Warfighter, the follow-up to 2010’s hugely successful first-person military shooter, Medal of Honor.
Ahead of a full reveal this week, EA and development studio Danger Close have let out a short teaser video for the pair’s upcoming Medal of Honor: Warfighter!
As you might expect, it’s extremely teaserly in nature but there are brief glimpses at what appear to be in-game sequences, while a release date is also slapped right at the end of the trailer.
Tier 1 was here:

According to a report by Game Informer, the next issue of Official Xbox Magazine will be your source of information on the follow-up to 2010’s Medal of Honor, because within the hallowed pages of OXM, you’ll discover a full exposé on the next title from Danger Close, Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

While we already know about EA and Danger Close’s intentions to bring a new (and free) multiplayer gameplay mode and two new maps to the pair’s Medal of Honor next month, an announcement has just been made regarding two more maps and another multiplayer mode that will become available for the military-themed first-person shooter.
Unlike the previously revealed ‘Clean Sweep’ mode, however, this new mode will not be free.
