It never fails to amaze us how quickly the week goes - one day you’re posting about exciting new competitions and delivering great new reviews to the world on a videogame website, and then the next, you realise it’s nearing the end of Friday and there’s so much more left to do before the coming week.

The original Dance Central is a bit of a favourite here at El33tonline and is still one of the best showcases of what Xbox 360’s Kinect motion controller is capable of, very accurately tracking your dance moves while subtly encouraging you to perform better and better routines with every play.

Xbox 360 KinectOver the week of June 6th, Microsoft fired the opening salvo of videogame news to kick off E3 2011, and it was quite explosive!

The company focussed heavily on its upcoming offering of Xbox 360 Kinect titles, revealing details on motion games catering to all types of Xbox owners, from the hardest of the hardcore to more family friendly fun.

Details on upcoming highly anticipated games that make use of Kinect were also revealed, while the welcome announcement of Kinect Fun Labs was made to further diversify the range of entertainment opportunities now available on Xbox 360.

Dance Central 2 was another new title revealed at Microsoft’s E3 press conference.

Earlier today we learnt that Harmonix was working on a sequel to the popular Kinect dance game. Dance Central 2 will feature simultaneous 2 player dancing and you’ll be able to import tracks from the original Dance Central disc.
