Earlier this month EA and Crytek announced that they would be bringing Crysis to Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network in October.

EA has since revealed that the exact release date for this award-winning first-person shooter will be October 4th (next week Tuesday). PSN users from PAL territories will have to wait an extra day for it to appear on the PlayStation Store due to it only being updated on a Wednesday.

EA and Crytek have today announced that the publisher and developer pair will be bringing their original collaborative effort, the first Crysis, to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as downloadable titles over Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network respectively.
