A new countdown clock website has just been discovered that’s currently ticking down to… something happening in just under five days.

It just so happens that the Game Developers Conference kicks off in just under five days, too.

Platinum Games, creators of MadWorld and Bayonetta, and comprising former Capcom luminaries, has posted up a countdown clock that is equal parts groovy and confusing.

The page contains visuals that would remind one of a New Year’s party in the 70’s, with all kinds of garish colours and shapes spinning and swirling around, occasionally forming shapes.

In the centre of the nausea-inducing movement is a countdown clock, presumably made up of split-seconds, ‘rapidly’ falling to zero.
