Yesterday Microsoft announced that Halo Wars would be hitting retailers in the US a few days earlier than expected on the 28th of February.
However, Microsoft has since released word that there was some confusion at the Microsoft CES presentation and that the release date for the US remains unchanged and that Halo Wars will arrive on shelves across North America on the 3rd of March.
Microsoft confirmed that the demo for the game will still be hitting Xbox Live on the 5th of February.
Halo Wars will be released across Japan and Asia Pacific on the 26th of February while Europe, the Middle East and Africa will get the game on the 27th of February.
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world’s largest consumer technology show, is currently on the go, and it was announced by Microsoft at their show keynote that the upcoming strategy title set in the Halo universe, Halo Wars, has a new confirmed release date, as well as plans for a demo.
Previously thought to be arriving a little earlier, Halo Wars is now expected to arrive on February 28th, exclusive to Xbox 360, while a demo will be made available over Xbox LIVE on February 5th.
[UPDATE] Microsoft has since announced that the release date for Halo Wars remains unchanged - it will be released across the US on the 3rd of March.
