If you thought there weren’t going to be many big releases during the month of April then think again. CD Projekt has just announced that The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition will be released for both Xbox 360 and PC on April 17th, and will feature hours of new content as well as numerous gameplay tweaks.

Role playing games have changed a lot since I played Ultima 6. They are trying to be more cinematic with epic and elaborate story lines that span decades. Some are very action focused, allowing instant gratification to those players with ADD. Others try to be a complete time drain, needing hours upon hours to get into and really enjoy. What we have here, ladies and gentlemen, in The Witcher 2, is the perfect balance of the classic RPG and the modern RPG. A new classic.
