Capcom announced recently that Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version, the publisher’s first planned game “to be co-developed by the fans,” has been officially cancelled due to the project not meeting necessary conditions.
After a strange and tangled period of development for Capcom’s announced Megaman Universe, and very murky and unimpressive showings of the game, it’s just been announced that the publisher has cancelled work on the title.
Square Enix has just announced that its Xbox 360 action game Gun Loco has been cancelled, following its reveal at gamescom 2010.

According to a report on Reuters, electronics manufacturer Panasonic has discontinued production and development of its ‘Jungle’ handheld console, after the device was announced in early October last year.
Following frantic internet rumours and reports that Activision had laid off a number of employees across at least two of its internal studios, while cancelling two high profile projects currently in development, the news has just been confirmed by Activision proper in the publisher’s latest financial report.
