News coming out of the just-started Call of Duty XP event in Los Angeles has revealed that a limited edition Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3-branded Xbox 360 will be making its way into stores when the game launches on November 8th, while branded headsets and controllers will become available before then to get you ready for Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer’s industry-crushing game.
Activision is celebrating the currently-on-the-go Call of Duty XP event in LA today by providing all Call of Duty: Black Ops players on all platforms the chance to earn twice as many online experience points over the next few days, with another Double XP Weekend!
A $1 million tournament? 6 000 Call of Duty fans? A performance by Kanye West? And the debut of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer?
It must be the inaugural Call of Duty XP event, kicking off today in Los Angeles.
If you’re a Call of Duty fan, you’ve no doubt heard that there’s going to be a massive gathering of like-minded gaming enthusiasts this year in Los Angeles, giving everybody the chance to get hands-on with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer and partake in other themed activities.
Taking place from September 2nd through September 3rd, the Call of Duty XP event will be held on a 12-acre compound in LA, while playing host to a $1 million Call of Duty tournament and other exciting goings-on. For Call of Duty fans, this is the event of the year.
