While Modern Warfare 2 was recently released and proceeded to tear up the charts, a lesser-known title released on the same day as that behemoth, only on the Wii, known as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Reflex, a port of the original Modern Warfare.
Gametrailers has put up a comparison video to demonstrate the differences between Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on the PS3 and Xbox 360, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Reflex on the Wii, ostensibly the same game, but obviously dramatically scaled down for the Wii, while taking advantage of the console’s motion controls.
The differences between the two are definitely noticeable, but it’s impressive that developers Treyarch were able to squeeze everything into the Wii version – there’s no obvious missing content.

By way of a listing of their upcoming holiday release lineup, Nintendo has confirmed that the Wii version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has received a bit of a name revision.
The title, which is said to be a near-faithful port of the enormously popular Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, will now be known as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Reflex, and will release on the Wii on November 10th alongside the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
The port is being handled by series contributors Treyarch.
